There are so many great places for fishing in northern Dalarna that it would take a lifetime to mention all of them. However, here are a few of our favourites:
South of Särna, next to Nordic Footprints.
A small river that is sometimes slow flowing and sometimes wild. The river is easy to wade in most places and is periodically great for trout fishing and often good for grayling.
South of Särna, 2 km east of Nordic Footprints.
A big lake where you can fish for nice pike and perch, if you are lucky you can also catch lake trout. There are several islands in the lake which are accessible by boat.
Runs from Norway, approx. 16 km south of Nordic Footprints.
Nice and calm river for grayling and trout. It is possible to fish both the Swedish, and the Norwegian side of the river.
